External fund selection and advisory services
As a leading asset manager, Amundi is committed to providing you with solutions that best fit your needs and objectives. Thanks to our size, we are also able to offer a wider choice through investment in external funds as well as those we manage ourselves. With more than USD 22 billion of assets under multi-management, Amundi is an expert in the selection of external funds1.
External fund experts
We have an independent team of experts, made up of highly experienced professionals, who are dedicated to selecting our external funds. Their purpose is to select and monitor the UCITS funds that will become part of our investment universe and will potentially be offered to institutional clients1.
A selection process based on quality and conviction
A clear and structured investment process
A rigorous operational and administrative framework
Specialists in external fund manager selection
01 | A broad choice
We take our selections from all UCITS funds and, more globally, all non-alternative funds. This investment universe is divided into asset classes and monitored by specialist analysts.
02 | A well-defined selection process
The selection of external funds and managers is based on three key factors:
- Quantitative analysis to systematically identify the funds we believe to have the best selection criteria
- Qualitative analysis, including meetings with fund managers, to ensure the consistency of our investment philosophy
- Operational due diligence
03 | A closely supervised collaborative process
Our analysts constantly exchange information and ideas with the external fund managers to make sure they stay up to date with the progress of the funds. Risk monitoring and analysis is key to the selection of the funds and is undertaken by our risk management department which is independent from our investment teams.
A structured process of selection and constant monitoring
