Our approach to Responsible Investment

Responsible investment has been one of Amundi's founding pillars since its creation in 2010. Amundi is convinced that companies and financial actors have a particular responsibility to respond to the major challenges of our time and intends to play an active role in the evolution of our societies towards a more sustainable development model.

As a responsible asset manager, Amundi takes into account environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in its investment process as well as in its management throughout the holding period.

With an ESG analysis method adapted to each strategy, our responsible investment policy covers the six areas of expertise that make up Amundi Real Assets: real estate, multi-management, private debt, private equity, green infrastructure and social impact.

Amundi Real Assets is committed to responsible investment in three areas:

  • Acting for the climate
  • Increasing transparency
  • Aligning the interests of all stakeholders

Responsible Investor Report

The issue of sustainability is inherent to the very nature of the assets in which we invest. We are positioned in illiquid assets, which in essence imply a long-term commitment. This explains our sensitivity to the sustainability of our investments.
